Our story
Repairs you can actually understand
We are a small, owner-operated shop in Elk Grove built on a simple idea: tell customers the truth about their car and back it up with real work. Miguel runs the shop hands-on, from tracking down an engine issue that had stumped other mechanics for two years to meeting a tow truck after hours when a family's jeep broke down.
We walk every customer through the pros and cons before any repair starts, whether that is a first-time car owner getting their first inspection or a longtime client who has trusted us for years. No pressure, no upsells, just an honest read on what your vehicle needs.
When a job is urgent, we make it work. Ball joints, axles, engine diagnostics: we have turned around emergency repairs in as little as 24 hours so families are not stuck waiting.
- Owner-operated, hands-on repairs by Miguel himself
- Clear, honest explanations before any work begins
- After-hours flexibility for urgent breakdowns
- Trusted equally by first-time owners and longtime customers
What customers say
“Miguel and his crew are awesome. He helped diagnose an engine issue that had been on and off for 2 years for me, drove my car around in his free time to make sure the check engine light wasn't coming back on, took the car next door to get it smogged and still charged me 25% less than he quoted me initially.”
“I've been going here for several years. Can't say enough about how kind, honest, and great they are. Being a woman sometimes gets you mistreated when it comes to cars, but not here. I trust them with my car and they always answer all my questions, giving me pros and cons, which is priceless.”
“Miguel is amazing. Our daughters jeep broke, literally ball joint and axle, and he met the tow truck and my husband after hours to get the keys. I can't thank him and the team enough. We had the car back in 24 hours. Service and quality of work are impeccable!!”
